Miami, FL – This Sunday, Oct. 30th, labor and immigration groups will celebrate the first weekend of early voting by hosting a Trump Is Scary Halloween Parade and block party.

Activists will begin with a parade at 3:00 p.m. ET at José Martí Park and march to the Stephen P. Clark Government Center. Once there, they will join a family-friendly Early Vote block party to educate, entertain and encourage voters to go to the polls and vote for progressive candidates.  

The parade will feature South Florida’s Love Bus Project and banners from “Cuenta Conmigo,” a grassroots GOTV campaign that has energized Latino voters across the US. The block party will include food trucks, face-painting stations and music, plus trick-or-treat candy for kids in costume, inviting families to come out and make a fun day of casting their vote.
